Looking for an unusual event in Düsseldorf this weekend?
The Düsseldorfer Büdchentag celebrates its 10th anniversary with its biggest edition yet.
Around 70 traditional Düsseldorf kiosks – known locally as “Büdchen” – across the city become small cultural stages for one day.
Visitors can walk from kiosk to kiosk and discover live music, DJs, art, literature, theatre, creative activities and local neighbourhood culture.
For the first time, the festival also expands further into districts including Oberkassel, Lierenfeld, Unterrath and Gerresheim.
The event is free and open to everyone.
